August Meeting Announcement

Hi Gang,
On behalf of our President, Glen Whitmire and Vice-President, Bryan Tucker, we would like to invite you to the August meeting of the Fort Worth Scale Modelers. The meeting will convene at 6:30 pm, Monday, August 17 at the First Baptist Church of Benbrook, 1015 McKinley Street, Benbrook, TX 76126. We will have a social period until around 7:00 PM when the meeting will start.
Our agenda is:
1) BUSINESS MEETING
2) MODEL CONTEST
3) PROGRAM: “Contest Judging Critques” Charles Jerden.
Ever wonder what the judges are looking at when they are going over your model with a fine tooth comb? What are the show stoppers? What grabs their attention? All these questions and more will be covered by Charles Jerden. This should be a relevant, informative and timely (SuperCon is coming!) subject.
We Look Forward to Seeing You (and your latest creations).

P.S. We are still looking for kit donations for our Supercon door prizes. Please bring along to the July or August meetings, or to Supercon, a contribution or two for our Supercon door prize stack. We don’t ask for your most treasured pieces, but we’d like to see our club well-represented with some desirable goodies for our door prize winners.
Kits needn’t be in original shrink wrap, but we do ask that they be complete and in new condition.
Many thanks from all of us for your contributions to help maintain Supercon’s reputation as a great venue.
